MEMBERSHIP

  Objective:

  1. Increase club membership by 5% per year
  2. Maintain a consistent base of members

  Strategies:

  1. Schedule Membership event each year
  2. Provide educational material for members regarding membership obligations and opportunities

SERVICE

  Objective:

  1. Members will continue to support the community through hands-on service

  Strategies:

  1. Educate membership of the needs of the community
  2. Work with other community partners

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP

  Objective:

  1. Through programs and related opportunities, will assist members to achieve personal and professional growth as Altrusans.

  Strategies:

  1. Through meetings and publications, enhance members' awareness of Altrusa
  2. Mentor members for their roles and responsibilities as Altrusans

COMMUNICATIONS & ORGANIZATION

  Objective:

  1. Continue community awareness of Altrusa
  2. Strengthen internal communications

  Strategies:

  1. Submit news releases at least 2-4 weeks prior to event
  2. Publish Blotter via email
  3. Explore the creation of a website

Every year in mid September, the ladies of Altrusa International Inc.of Marion, Ohio hosts a mum sale. This spring we added a spring flower sale also. All of the proceeds from our mum/flower sales are being put into our clubs RX Marion fund. These monies are used to purchase prescriptions on a one-time basis for those who need it distributed by the Marion General Hospital Foundation.
