Altrusa International of Mansfield, OH

Altrusa is an international non-profit organization making our local communities better through leadership, partnership, and service.

Our club offers an opportunity to make a real difference in Mansfield. We undertake a variety of service, literacy, fundraising and international projects each year.

We are seeking new volunteers to join our organization and make a difference. Our members are from varying occupations and lifestyles, all sharing an interest in community service and enjoying the friendship, fun and satisfaction that comes from working together for the benefit of others.

Mansfield Altrusa Club grants money yearly to Madison Adult Career Center for scholarships.  This year four students each received $500 to help cover the cost of their education. Students were nominated by staff and awarded to those who exemplify Altrusa principles.  Scholarships were awarded to Jessica Hoffman, Tyler Fraley, Kelsey Henry, and Whitney Leavitt. Staff and scholarship winners were invited to attend Altrusa’s April luncheon where the members learned about the students and programs offered at MACC.
